A project launched and curated by Galena’s Poet Laureate, Ted Williams, to bring the community together across the centuries and encourage a love of language and art.
The beauty and timelessness of Galena has inspired creativity in young and old alike, those who live here and those who traveled here.
Send us your poetry (or that of a loved one), written in or inspired by time in Galena to contribute to the project!
.

All work must have been written in or inspired by Galena, IL.
The submission window is between April 1, 2025 and February 1, 2026.
All ages may submit.
